Orbital pledges to bring award winners to life
The 2019 January Furniture Show is approaching fast – and there are just a few days left for exhibitors to enter The Furniture Awards, an established programme which recognises the event’s champion suppliers across a range of product categories.
“We are excited about this year’s edition of The Furniture Awards, and are expecting a great number of entries in all of the categories,” says event director, Cleere Scammel. “It is a significant opportunity for companies to shout about their latest innovations, have them recognised by their peers and be rewarded for their endeavours.”
The Furniture Awards were developed five years ago by Furniture News magazine in partnership with the show’s organisers. The winners benefit from valuable industry exposure – and those selected in 2019 will enjoy an additional prize, courtesy of creative digital agency Orbital [http://orbital.vision].
“The awards do a great job in bringing some of the best launches to the fore, and we’re offering each winner a photorealistic rendition of their entry that can be used in print, PoS, online and social media marketing to really bring it to life,” says Orbital director, Matt O’Flynn.
After each winner is announced on the first day of the show, the Orbital team will start capturing images and data of the entered product before commencing the 3D build on its enVision platform – the results of which will be ready for use in in as little as two weeks.
“enVision enables both manufacturers and retailers to present their assets in the best possible light online,” Matt continues. “Using the latest software, cutting-edge hardware and years of creative flair, our technical experts have created a dynamic marketing platform to overcome the issue of new product launches falling by the wayside – by bringing the item to life and highlighting its attributes on the screen.”
The 2019 awards are again sponsored by the BFM, and have been co-ordinated by Furniture News’ editor-in-chief, Paul Farley. “In a highly competitive industry, it’s crucial to seize every opportunity to stand out,” says Paul. “My thanks go to Orbital for adding further incentive to enter this year.”
