The Furniture Awards at JFS 2024 shortlist revealed

The Furniture Awards programme continues to celebrate the industry's star players, with 2024's stand-out businesses to be revealed at this year's January Furniture Show (JFS), taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 21st-24th this month.
Exhibiting suppliers are invited to explain how they are ahead of the curve, presenting their credentials in one of five thematic categories: Sustainability; Best of British; Design Innovation; Global Player; and Superior Service.
The entries are shortlisted and assessed by a panel of industry professionals, led by awards co-ordinator Paul Farley, editor-in-chief of Furniture News magazine. This year’s judges were: Malcolm Walker (Owner, FIRST MW); Sarah Bianchi (MD, Arighi Bianchi); Alice Rowan Hall (Founder, Rowen Homes); Peter Harding (MD, Fairway Furniture); and furniture designer Adam Daghorn.
The Furniture Awards 2024 shortlist boasts some impressive brands:
- Best of British: Tetrad; Alpha Designs Upholstery; Lebus Upholstery; and La-Z-Boy UK
- Design Innovation: Carpe Diem Beds; Whitemeadow Furniture; A.L.F. UNO; and Cofra
- Global Player: Birlea Furniture; Tomasella Industria Mobili; Qualita; and Furniture Link (UK)
- Superior Service: Sci-Net Business Solutions; HUMZ; Iconography; and Rauch Moebelwerke
The winners will be announced at the exhibition's Show Party, taking place from 5.30pm at the Champagne Bar in Hall 1 on the show's opening day, Sunday 21st January.
JFS invites members of the trade to join the party and raise a glass (or two) to a triumphant first day with the JFS community. The awards will recognise the champions of the industry, and the Show Party is the perfect time to foster those new connections and build on existing ones!
Established in 2015 by Furniture News in partnership with JFS, The Furniture Awards are now an integral part of the show.
