JANUARY FURNITURE SHOW 2018 CELEBRATES ‘BEST OF BRITISH’

The British furniture industry continues to be a vibrant component of the UK’s economy.   The UK’s No.1 furniture and furnishings event, The January Furniture Show (Birmingham NEC, Sunday 21- Wednesday 24 January 2018), provides the perfect opportunity for furniture buyers and interior specifiers in the hotel and leisure industry to see the newest launches and latest trends from the industry’s biggest names.

“British-made is synonymous with quality, style and outstanding design and craftsmanship,” says Laraine Janes, co-director of the January Furniture Show. “We are delighted that wonderful British companies creating exciting products for the home and international markets will be exhibiting.”

Show partners the BFM (British Furniture Manufacturers Association) will have a stand in Hall 1 to promote and represent British companies at the show.  They will also provide information on their successful ‘IT IS Great British Furniture’ initiative, which has been designed to increase awareness of the key factors that make British made furniture great in the eyes of consumers and trade buyers.  2018 will see the BFM commence promotion of the campaign in consumer magazines.

Ashley Manor, Ashwood, Buoyant, Celebrity, Cintinque, Collins & Hayes, Dar Lighting, Duresta, ercol, Furnico, G Plan Upholstery, Kingstown, Lebus, Parker Knoll, Westbridge and Whitemeadow are some of the companies on an unrivalled exhibitor list of British and international manufacturers.

Visitors will be able to see dining and occasional furniture, all kinds of upholstery, flooring, fabrics, art, mirrors and decorative accessories.

Regular exhibitors Tetrad will launch their 50th birthday celebrations in Birmingham with new collections to inspire the next 50 years.  Experts at making traditional British designs look brand new with their Heritage and Classic Harris Tweed collections, they are also at ease with producing ultra modern styles in vibrant colours.
